Family Constellation Workshop
What is Family Constellations Therapy?
Also called systemic family therapy, family constellation work was developed in Germany, by Bert Hellinger as a form of brief therapy with an orientation towards resolution. Family constellation work is very established and popular in Europe and is spreading around the world.
A family constellation workshop is an experiential workshop in which the participants agree to form a sacred circle for a person to explore a situation that is concerning them, by setting up their own constellation. A facilitator supports the person to choose participants from the circle to represent the identified aspects of their issue. These representitatives are placed within the circle in a way that feels right and the facilitator, through observations and questions, works through the dynamics of the situation and assists it to move toward resolution.
The experience and the perspective, offers a space to find peace and healing in the context of you in your family soul and the greater soul of humanity. Family constellations can explore our relationships in business, in personal life and in families, or any aspects of our life, including the way we relate to problems. This is a profound therapeutic, healing modality that may be an alternative to counselling or a complement to the therapeutic process.
